Sara’s interest in Reflex Integration began in early 2013 after attending a course in the USA. She started using it to help her son who was born with a rare brain abnormality. After seeing dramatic improvements she was determined to learn more.
In 2015, Sara qualified in Craniosacral Fascial Therapy (CFT, The Gillespie Approach) and uses it alongside reflex integration and other interventions such as mild hyperbaric oxygen, vibration therapy and cold laser.
Sara joined the multidisciplinary rehabilitation team at Blue Skies Ahead in 2016 and works with a range of clients with or without an official diagnosis. Their difficulties include those with severe mobility challenges, struggling in school with learning and academics and children with emotional regulation difficulties.
Prior to her son’s disability and her career in therapy and rehabilitation, Sara worked as Research Scientist for Government agencies after gaining her degree in Physics in 1999; she is also a qualified secondary Mathematics and Physics teacher.
